Here at CSN Stores, we believe that an active imagination and a creative mind are crucial to a child’s growth and development. Unfortunately, with hundreds of TV channels, portable video games, interactive cell phones – you name it – igniting a child’s imagination has become harder than ever. A young boy or girl is more likely to know what to do with a PlayStation than they are a paintbrush. Soon, creative writing will replace calculus and chemistry as a child’s most difficult class. By all accounts, it seems today’s Imagination Nation really needs an Imagination Renovation.

That’s why CSN is launching a coast-to-coast search for the country’s most creative kid. Not only do we want to acknowledge and reward children that exhibit great, creative talents, but we want to inspire others to engage in similar activities. We’re hoping to motivate children to drop the video games for a craft kit or move from the television to the telescope.
